| Thunder Valley Speedway sits on a 5-acre parcel of land. Our track is hard packed clay, and is 1/6 of a mile long in the center. The straight-aways are 180 feet long and 45 feet wide. Our spacious curves are 60 feet wide and with 10 degree banking through-out, it is a racers dream. |
| Our spectator seating is elevated and provides an excellent view of the track. Plans are also under way to cover this area, providing shade on those hot Iowa Summer days. The concession stand sits on the East end of the bleachers, so going after a cold pop and a sandwich doesn't take much time. We don't want our fans missing any of the action. |
| We have removed the large hill and made our pits much larger. We still have a slight incline to the pit area, but that allows the mechanics to watch the races and still work on karts. In fact, there is a fairly good view of the track from anywhere in the pits. |
