1981 - 2001	In Memory of our friend Nate Downer

Nate Downer was a 19 year old, very special young man, that was tragically taken from us on June 3rd, 2001.  He was on his way home from the races at the Adams County Speedway.  He was a good athlete, avid outdoorsman and a member of our volunteer fire department.  He enjoyed all types of racing, and helped out in the pits with not only go-karts, but also stockcars.  His father, Dean, is our announcer at Thunder Valley Speedway.   Our thoughts and prayers are with his father and mother, Dean and Kathy, and his sister, Alison. We ask that all who view this page use a little more care in all you do, especially driving. We do not want any of your family or friends to feel the pain of losing a loved one like Nate's have.
